7.1% of citizens unemployed in Catron County in 2021

Catron County recorded an unemployment rate of 7.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 60 people out of the 3,581 living in Catron County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Catron County has increased compared to the 5.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Catron County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.5%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
