This week, Project Lead the Way (PLTW) corporate leaders together with the College Career & Civic Readiness (CCCR) Team, visited several GMCS schools to meet with the students, teachers, and principals to get insight about the various PLTW courses and activities.

All fifth-grade students are learning their science standards through PLTW hands-on activities. The middle schools offer PLTW elective classes such as Medical Detectives and the Science of Technology as exploratory courses for pathways. The high schools use PLTW curricula in their engineering, biomedical, or computer science pathways. Dr. David Dimmett, PLTW president/CEO; Vic Dreier, PLTW Senior Director of School Success; Ester Minjarez, PLTW Director of School Success, and CCCR Coordinators visited Gallup High School, Crownpoint High School, Kennedy Middle School, Crownpoint Middle School, Lincoln Elementary School, and Crownpoint Elementary School.  March 24, 2023.  #PLTW
