Vehicle Collision Involving a Semi-Truck and a Passenger Car | Adobe Stock

A couple of days ago, Crew A of your Gallup Fire Department responded to HWY 66 on the west side of town on a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a semi-truck and a passenger car. Upon arrival crews found a semi-truck and a SUV involved with moderate damage to the SUV noted. One occupant was transported to the hospital by Med Star Ambulance. Crews stayed on scene to assist the Gallup Police Department with traffic control due to both side of the highway being shut down until the vehicles were removed from the scene. No hazardous materials were involved.
