Your Gallup Fire Department would like to introduce our community to Fire Recruit Gabriel Loera who joined your Gallup Fire Department this week.
Gabriel comes to us with no prior fire service experience or education but he wanted to join the Gallup Fire Department so he could protect his community and make it a safer place. Prior to joining, Gabriel took a BLS-CPR class which inspired him to do more.
When not at work Gabriel enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing.
Over the next year Gabriel will go through extensive training for his EMT-Basic, Firefighter I & II, Haz-Mat, Vehicle Extrication, and Emergency Vehicle Driving.
