Early this morning, Crew A of your Gallup Fire Department responded to a dumpster fire on the south side of town. Rescue 2 had just cleared the hospital after transporting a patient and were returning to their station when they noted a dumpster on fire. The Rescue 2 crew requested an engine to respond. The fire was quickly extinguished with an attack line before additional damage to the dumpster occurred or the vehicle parked next to the dumpster. No injuries were reported.
