Your Gallup Fire Department would like to congratulate the following members on reaching an amazing milestone in their careers. These members are new to our organization and were hired between February and April of last year. They recently passed all of their new hire training and are now on shift responding to emergencies and serving our community.
Over their new training these members completed the following:
1. A 10-week EMT-Basic course and all achieved their New Mexico State and National Registry EMT-Basic license.
2. 40 hours of Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations training to achieve their IFSAC certification.
3. An 11-week fire academy that included Emergency Vehicle Driving certification and IFSAC certification as a Firefighter I & II.
4. Incident Command System Training to include I-100, I-200, I-700, and I-800.
Your Gallup Fire Department would like to congratulate the following members on this achievement.
