Your Gallup Fire Department would like to congratulate Fire Inspector Andrew Laweka for successfully obtaining his IFSAC Fire Inspector II certification.
The Fire Inspector II course teaches how to identify complex life safety and fire issues including, but not limited to, interiorfinish, occupancy type, height and area limitations, construction type, and general fire safety. The course also teaches how to witness acceptance testing of fire protections systems to determine compliance with approved plans and adopted Codes and Standards. Another important part of the course is how evaluate Emergency Planning and Preparedness Procedures for inspected properties to determine compliance with adopted Codes and Standards.
