Yesterday, your Gallup Fire Department was at Jefferson Elementary School for fire prevention activities. The activities that were completed included the students meeting Sparky, learning about portable fire extinguishers, tour of a fire engine, and a demonstration on a fire engine pumping water through the deck gun master stream.
We had a blast spending the day with the students and teaching them about fire safety.
