This past Saturday Big Brothers Big Sisters of McKinley / Apache Counties held its Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. This year was a Star Wars themed event and it was called Lane Wars.
Your Gallup Fire Department had 2 teams participate.
The first team was “The Dark Side” and included:
Firefighter Brian Rohrer
Battalion Chief Ricardo Sanchez
Firefighter Kenneth Smith
Lieutenant Eddy Jaramillo
Firefighter Bronson Huber
The second team was “The Prevention Strikes Back” and included:
Fire Inspector Andrew Laweka and his wife
Fire Inspector Arlita Pablo
Fire Marshal Jon Pairett and his wife
This was an amazing event and between both teams we were able to raise about $1,200.00 for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
