This past Saturday the Annual Preparedness Day / National Night Out event was held at the Rio West Mall. Your Gallup Fire Department on present handing out fire prevention information along with teaching about home fire safety and fire extinguisher use with our safety house. There were many other organizations there as well handing out great information. We would like to thank our fellow emergency folks such as McKinley County Metro Dispatch, BIA Fire Prevention, Gallup Police Department, McKinley County Emergency Management, McKinley County Fire & EMS, New Mexico State Police, McKinley Metro Animal Control, McKinley County Sheriff’s Office for being there as well. It was a great event for all.
