Our GMCS student interns are learning a lot during their time with you Gallup Fire Department. This week intern Kaicee Pablo conducted research on the use of Narcan which is used during narcotic overdoses. After her research was done she presented a small class to the crew on how and when to use Narcan.
She also learned about the multiple different splinting methods that our crews use on EMS calls.
The intern program is a great experience for the students as they get to see all of the different aspects of what the fire department does.
