Disasters can happen anywhere, and at any time. That is why it is important to always be prepared. One of the parts of preparedness is having an emergency kit in place.
An emergency kit should have everything you need to survive for several days. Keep your kit stocked with necessities such as non-perishable food and water. Include first aid items into your kit along with flashlights, radios and don’t forget the extra batteries.
Remember the special needs anyone in your family may have, think about supplies for older adults or those with disabilities, and always remember to stock your kit with supplies for your pet as well.
