Early Saturday morning, Crew A of your Gallup Fire Department was dispatched to the area of HWY 491 and Metro Ave on a report of a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival units found a full sized pick-up truck with fire coming from the engine compartment. Crews immediately deployed a hoseline and were able to contain the fire to the engine compartment. No injuries were reported.
