Your Gallup Fire Department would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Gallup Fire Department family. Fire Recruit Leticia Ruiz-Guido, aka Letty started with the Gallup Fire Department this week.
Letty comes to us from the restaurant industry where she has worked for the last 14 years. Letty did complete the EMT-Basic program at UNM Gallup and will be testing for her National Registry license soon.
Letty decided to join the Gallup Fire Department because she has always had a passion for helping people and has always looked up to Firefighters for what they do in the community. Letty hopes one day that she can be that person that someone else looks up to.
When not at work learning how to be a Firefighter, Letty enjoys going to the gym, dancing, and spending precious time with her beautiful daughters.
Letty is excited to be a member of the fire department because she loves to learn and do new things. Every time she has set a goal for herself she does everything she can to accomplish it and one of those goals was to be a part of the Gallup Fire Department family.
