This morning, your Gallup Fire Department was at Lincoln Elementary School. We were invited by the staff to attend their summer program which includes career exploration. This program introduces students to the many types of careers they could choose from when they become adults. On top of the members talking about why they joined the Gallup Fire Department and why this is the best career in the world we were able to walk the students around one of our rescues and engines.
Over the next week we will be attending more of these career exploration events and it is always an honor for us to speak to the future leaders in our community.
