This morning, your Gallup Fire Department responded to I-40 mile marker 16 on a report of a vehicle rollover. Upon arrival our units found a moving truck laying on its side on the onramp to I-40. The vehicle had 2 occupants inside of it and both had self-extricated prior to our arrival. Both occupants were assessed for injuries and 1 was transported to the hospital by Med Star Ambulance. The truck was actively leaking DEF fluid and oil onto the roadway. Crews stopped the leaks and mitigated the fluids that were on the roadway.
