Yesterday afternoon, Crew B of your Gallup Fire Department was dispatched to the north side of town on a report of a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival our crews found a small car with heavy front end damage. The car had traveled through construction barriers and struck cattle guards that not been installed. There were 2 occupants in the vehicle, but 1 had left the scene prior to our arrival. The remaining occupant was assessed but had no injuries reported. The scene was left with the McKinley County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.
