From a suggestion we received on our last post MCSO took out a crew to County Road 1 north of the climbing rock area to pick up trash yesterday. Although the workers removed 1800 pounds of trash you can see from the last photo we are going to need a community effort and heavy machinery to clean the trash under the bridge. People are continuing to dump their trash off the bridge rather than take it to the transfer station.
If MCSO catches anyone unlawfully dumping trash we will make them pick it up and cite them into court to face fines.
