Someone is calling members of our community claiming to be an officer or deputy with the Sheriff's Office and asking people to send them money based on an outstanding warrant, traffic ticket, or missed court.
THIS IS NOT THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE, THIS IS A SCAM.
We do not take money over the phone. Do not provide any personal information or transfer any money to them.
