McKinley County issued the following announcement on April 11.
Last week MCSO was out at Six Directions Indigenous School. Sergeant Garylle James and his K-9 Cosa did a drug sweep of the school at the request of the school administration.
We want to remind parents and students that possession of marijuana/cannabis/THC products by anyone under the age of 21 is a crime. Students found with those products face disciplinary action through the school and possible charging through the juvenile probation office.
Help us keep our schools safe and drug free.
