McKinley County issued the following announcement on March 30.
MSCO K-9 UNIT IN NAVAJO NM.
Yesterday the K-9 Unit went out to Navajo Pine High School and Middle School to work with School administrators to conduct drug sweeps.
Over the last 3 months the K-9s have visited 13 schools in McKinley County including Gallup, Thoreau, Zuni and Navajo.
Our Office wants to thank the K-9 handlers and the school administrators for their ongoing efforts to keep our schools safe and drug free.
