City of Grants issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
The City of Grants is accepting applications for the position of City Treasurer. Starting salary range is $60,000 – $80,000 DOE, and qualifications, with great benefits.

Qualifications include but not limited to the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field preferred; minimum five years of experience in accounting, theory principles and practices preferred; considerable knowledge of internal control procedures and management information systems; working knowledge of budgetary, accounting and reporting systems, considerable knowledge of cash flow and investment practices; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Three (3) years’ experience in a Supervisory position with strong people skills. This is an exempt position requiring approximately 45-50 hours per week.
