City of Grants issued the following announcement on July 15.
The City of Grants is accepting applications for Community Service Aid – Police Department. Salary is $14.00 per hour. Great benefits package.
Qualifications include but not limited to the following: High school diploma or GED. Valid NM driver’s license and good driving record. Must meet entrance standards for the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy. Any combination of general education and/or work experience that will enable them to communicate with the public. Working knowledge of public and business administration, the principles of state and municipal governmental organization.
Must be able to perform light lifting; manage sustained levels of work-related stress. Must be able to pass the fitness standards established by the department on a regular basis.
