At GMCS we are not just about the academics. We love hearing stories about our community and the people in it. We would like to share a story about one of our teachers. Grace Doll is a Kindergarten teacher at Navajo Elementary School. Her principal is Mrs. Kitty Wise. These two ladies are not only colleagues they are also neighbors. This past week Mrs. Wise’s husband, Everett was working underneath his vehicle when the jack that was propping up his vehicle gave way. This left Everett Wise pinned underneath his vehicle without the ability to adequately call for help for nearly two hours. Grace Doll went outside into her yard and could hear the faint cries for help. She decided to investigate. Thank goodness that she did! Grace discovered Everett pinned and crying for help. Grace quickly jumped into action. She was able to maneuver the collapsed jack back into place and raise the car enough to pull Mr. Wise safely out!
We wanted to recognize Grace Doll for her extraordinary lifesaving actions and Thank her for saving Mr. Everett Wise’s life!
